The public libraries of Køge welcome you to our website. The following is a brief summary of the most important content of our website. Apart from this page all information is in Danish.
From this website you can visit our local database, which is the database of all our books, magazines, CD's, DVD's and other items. From here you can search for all the materials in the public libraries in Køge, and see if the material is available right now. You will also be able to make reservations and renewals of your loans. You can choose english as a search language and guide texts in our database.
You can find information about our main library, Køge Bibliotek (bibliotek=library), and our two branch libraries, Ølby Bibliotek and Herfølge Bibliotek.
You can also see the opening hours and the addresses of the three libraries.
We can offer you a nice collection of literature in foreign languages for grown-ups as well as children and teenagers. If this collection does not meet your demands, we'll allways try to obtain the book from another library.
It's mostly fiction and travelguides we acquire, but we also buy popular hobby books etc.
